We are excited to offer two dynamic summer camp options at Sunrise Montessori for 2025! Each camp is designed to foster exploration, independence, and fun, while also providing a Montessori-style learning experience in a safe, caring, and vibrant community.
We welcome your child into our safe, caring, vibrant community where independence, cooperation, and exploration are encouraged. Our summer camp follows Montessori methods, allowing the children to select from a variety of activities throughout the day.
Summer camp teachers prepare weekly-themed lessons and hands-on projects, to expose children to a variety of learning topics and sensorial explorations. We spend as much time outside as possible, with woods, water and nature play!
Our Kindergarten camp is available for the entire summer, with both half-day and full-day options. This flexible schedule allows families to choose the best fit for their child, providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Through hands-on projects, themed lessons, and outdoor nature play, children will engage in activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. It’s a wonderful introduction to our school community! For our youngest students it is the daily, small, independent tasks that make each day an adventure in learning— discovering the magical space of the children’s gardens, or using their little hands to squeeze lemons for lemonade
Elementary Camp (Entering 1st-6th Grade)
For our older campers, we offer three unique full-day sessions throughout the summer. Families can choose to enroll in one, two, or all three sessions!
Each session features distinct themes, hands-on projects, and outdoor exploration. Children will have the freedom to select from a variety of activities throughout the day, fostering independence, cooperation, and responsibility for their own learning.Our Elementary Camp is open to any student entering first grade-through sixth grade whether they are a returning student or new to Sunrise. They will have an enjoyable time working on a variety of outdoor projects, water activities and games. Activities involving science, arts and crafts and other subjects are adventures in learning that allow them to discover something unknown about the world around them!
